Gary has a strong sense of right and wrong. He dislikes insurance companies taking advantage of people injured in accidents. He feels that it is unfair and he fights to make sure it doesn't happen to his clients.
Gary's hobbies have included coaching his kids’ sports teams, downhill and cross-country skiing, road and mountain biking, kayaking, running, swimming, and competing in the Pole, Pedal, Paddle and local triathlons. Gary believes that exercise is important for a healthy life and believes it helps his clients recover from injuries.
Gary R. Johnson began helping people injured in accidents in 1994. He worked as a trial lawyer for years for the large law firm Hart Wagner in Portland representing insurance companies in personal injury lawsuits. After moving to Central Oregon, he became Oregon state counsel for a Fortune 100 big-box company and for National Interstate, a large commercial insurer. He has tried PI jury trials throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington and has been awarded the highest AV preeminent rating by Martindale Hubbell.
